A 3-day hackathon where students from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, as part of their overseas internships, collaborated with their peers from Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, and Jakarta, to launch their own startups and tackle one of the following four challenge themes: Persons with Disabilities, Less-Privileged Families, E-Waste Management, and Water Pollution.Global Entrepreneurial Internship Programme (GEIP) is an overseas internship programme, where Ngee Ann Polytechnic students have interned in more than 10 global cities - Silicon Valley, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Shanghai, London and even Helsinki! For six months to a year, students experience working in exciting start-ups, receive business mentorship, and build their network with founders and the global business community. Students also get to participate in the Global Startup Challenge, fireside chats, and learning journeys. GEIP is perfect for Ngee Ann Polytechnic students who want to dive into the fast-paced startup culture.
