A 2-day workshop where students learnt how to apply Design Thinking to their Values in Action (VIA) community service projects. Students were guided through the five stages of the Design Thinking framework (Empathy, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test), and how to apply this framework when designing a product or service. Students identified and refined problems to solve, by applying empathy and user discovery tools. Students also learnt creative ideation methods, to discover innovative solutions. By the end of the programme, each team was equipped with the knowledge needed to build a user-centric product.
